Managing Director, Alpine Executive
I lead the Alpine Executive offering, having previously spent two and a half years developing three business areas (Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR, Waste Management and Recycling, and Public Sector), for a specialist executive recruiter.
More recently I have assisted a wide range of clients, some large Corporates such as BP, KPMG, The Crown Estate and Marks and Spencer and a few SME businesses including venture capital backed start-up clean technology and renewable energy organisations. One noteworthy success was the recruitment of the replacement for Tony Juniper when he left Friends of the Earth.
Before that I was at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Veredus, I was responsible for recruiting a number of senior management local Government positions with a particular focus on environmental roles including the largest local Government Director of Environment role. I’ve successfully recruited for central Government posts and also for related agencies.
I’m interested in people and what makes them do what they do. Perhaps that’s why I have a degree in psychology and I am level B accredited for use of assessment tools including Myers Briggs and SHL. I’ve always been committed to developing talent through recruitment and I’m passionate about helping organisations become more sustainable in their practices.
