I have been an Associate at Alpine since I retired from the Inland Revenue in 2005 and have helped to set the strategic direction for Alpine especially the establishment of the Alpine Associate network.

I was a non-executive Director at the National Archives for 7 years and am a Trustee and Director of a charity (BSS) which provides contact centre support for government departments and the voluntary sector. I am also on the Advisory Board of the company (EzGov) who specialise in developing online applications for departments including HMRC, DEFRA and the Borders Agency.

My 34 year public sector career specialised from an early stage in strategic change management culminating in direct accountability and responsibility for the E services programme for the Inland Revenue which included the provision of an online tax return service. 

I had delivery experience in the private sector during 3 years with Citibank where my personal responsibility included a key role in a major restructuring exercise across all of the banks European branches.
