Central Government Client is seeking a Programme Manager to provide temporary cover for the programme manager role, while a permanent replacement is recruited. , ensuring that the website and back-end database are updated and that a programme of developments is carried out on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining stakeholder contact and user training strategy
- Liaising with policy/operational stakeholders
- Maintaining the budget profile
- Managing the LAN and internet access
- Ensuring timely updates of data through the portal (on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Managing the performance of the team support contract
Personal specification
Essential Skills
- Excellent programme management skills (particularly within a software development environment)
- Financial/procurement management
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including LAN and configuration management
- Good stakeholder management skills
- Experience of managing a data-centric web portal
Desirable skills
- Experience of OLAP and multi-dimensional modelling using Microsoft Analysis Services 2005
- Domain knowledge of policing and/or crime statistics
- Knowledge/experience of basic statistics (e.g. confidence intervals)
- Experience of using content management systems
- Web design (HTML/CSS)
