The post holder will develop a strategy in respect of the creation of a talent pipeline through which he/she will deliver the following:
- Bespoke in-house graduate scheme
- Partnership with specialist agencies
- Links with industry, supply and customer base and other organisations
In respect of the development, management and retention of talent, the postholder will deliver the following:
- Structured approach to career development and management, setting out organisational and individual obligations and expectations, values, potential career paths, progression, career planning approaches etc
- Management and leadership development strategy
Personal Specification
- Direct involvement in the introduction of a structured approach to learning and talent identification, acquisition, management and retention in organisations poorly developed in these areas.
- A learning and development professional with sharp end experience of creating a ‘learning organisation’.
- Clear understanding and experience of formulating organisational strategy aligned to vision and values.
- Devising and implementing innovative solutions to upskill and encourage talent development
