Central Government Client is seeking a Head of Communication to take day to day responsibility for the off-line and on-line communications to all key stakeholders, internally and externally, ensuring consistency and relevance of message content and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the overall Software & Telecommunications communications within the Agency both internal and external
- To ensure that all communications are legal
- To be responsible for the utilisation, efficiency and effectiveness of all off line and on line communication channels
- To work with key Stakeholders to ensure aligned and consistent communications
- To develop a strategy that enables all marketing and communications collateral to be fit for purpose
- To manage the media activity
- To ensure that our website in terms of content & presentation is fit for purpose and is an effective communication channel for both pro
Personal Specification:
· Relevant senior marketing and communications experience in either the public sector ie Public Sector to Public Sector or in a Business to Business environment.
- Knowledge of the ICT industry, particularly software licensing and mobile telecommunications
- Experience of leading and developing teams
- Skills in developing effective relationships with category teams, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
- Ability to translate marketing strategy into deliverable operational targets
- Ability to contribute to the senior management team both from the perspective of marketing and communications and more widely
- The ability to set and work to deadlines
- Experience in customer and supplier management relationship tools
- Willingness to travel
- Project Management – experience in delivering projects and good understanding of project management methodologies & techniques.
