Job Description:

Local Government Client is seeking a Financial Advisor to work with Members and the Council’s management team to help them develop the 10 year plan.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Harness/respond to demographic, social, environmental and economic trends
  • Provide advice on the implications of service delivery options as they emerge during the plan development phases
  • Review the medium term financial strategy in the light of the adopted plan
  • Identify options for securing additional resources

  • Adaptable
  • Team-player able to assert themselves when required
  • Strong persuasive influencer with impact, able to establish credibility with
  • Members and employees quickly
  • Calm under pressure
  • Full member CIMA/ACCA or CIPFA;
  • Technical Qualifications:- PhD/MBA/MSc/MA
