Central Government Client is seeking a Senior Category Manager to manage and develop staff in accordance with agreed company’s policy. He or she will also manage budgets and business plan production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agreeing budgets, monitoring spend and reporting progress on key performance measures
- Preparing, agreeing and delivering annual business plan for the IT Services & Application Development portfolio
- To act as a Project Leader where appropriate to develop and implement a work plan
- To develop and maintain active communication mechanisms with key customers
- Assess associated training requirements of the Team to ensure current and new systems concerned with contract management are used correctly
- ensure that the team adhere to procedures and the procurement strategies.

- Management and leadership experience at a senior level.
- MCIPS qualified
- An excellent understanding of the IT Services & Application Development
- marketplace with knowledge of the key issues and suppliers
- Make significant and demonstrable contribution to directorate business targets
- Ensure the creation of a robust and integrated 3-year business plan
- Highly credible and can deputise for Directors & Executives
- Highly adaptable, can deliver to frequent varying management requests and deliver to
- a high expectation level.
