Interim Planner - Reference 2099
Job Description:

Central Government client is seeking a Planner to supplement the planning function on the client’s latest project. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the plans developed  capture all appropriate logic and activity detail, that plans are monitored and issues highlighted accordingly, and that the planning process is championed across project team,

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Own the Programme and Project Planning framework

·         Define the Planning standards and process for the Programme and the individual projects

·         Track progress against the Project Implementation Plan and the Programme Plan, reporting any significant actual or potential slippages to the Programme Director and the PMO Lead

·         Produce and maintain the Programme Plan, incorporating the Programme critical path

·         Assist the Project Managers in identifying the activities that each project will need to complete, the deliverables that will result from those activities, the timescales, resourcing and dependencies

 

Personal Specification

 

·         Can demonstrate sound planning methodology experience

·         Proven operational experience in MSP

·         Experience of working within Central Government and Public Sector environments

·         Experience dealing with senior stakeholders

·         Experience in working remotely without supervision and to very aggressive timescales

·         Experience of mentoring permanent staff on skills and techniques

·         Candidates must have or be willing to undergo security clearance
