Central government client is seeking a security cleared (SC) Contract Manager to work on a large programme working with a number of suppliers.

The work will focus on trying to move the risk to the supplier, looking into off-shoring and strategic ways to increase productivity of service.

You must have:

  • Excellent contract and supplier management skills
  • Competent project management skills
  • Strong supplier relationship skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • SC cleared

 

The key outcomes include:

  • the possible move to off-shoring
  • changing the relationship to a better risk profile
  • possibly extending the contracts, so looking for an improved deal from the suppliers

The role is likely to last 12 months, however, the initial contract would probably be 3 months.
