Alpine Associates are typically either ex-civil servants at a very senior level (all SCS Grade 1-3) or Tier 1 Consultants from one of the “big 5” consulting organisations.
They include recently retired CIO’s, Permanent Secretaries, Chairmen and Commercial Directors from major Departments along with ex-senior partners from the big consultancies and others with 30 or more years experience on the supply side.
The Associate Network is an informal group of ex Senior Cvil Servants and industry Senior Managers who all want to continue operating at the most senior level in the Public Sector.
Members of the group undertake interim assignments through Alpine within the Public Sector. For example, two have filled interim CIO positions at major departments and others have been engaged in Board level strategy work.
As a Network, Alpine Associates have unparalleled and hands-on experience of large-scale change programmes within the Public Sector and first hand experience in Government. This is a unique asset for Alpine and underpins all that we do as an organisation.
The group meets regularly to discuss issues of current concern (while of course protecting client confidentiality) and are able to discuss best practice.
